In May 2005, the original gymnasium was renovated into a Performing and Fine Arts Center. It features a 295-seat theater with a thrust stage and art gallery space. It is used for student theater productions, musical concerts, student art displays, and for various presentations, assemblies, and guest speakers.
Rose Theatre Company
Assumption's student theater company is open to all students who enjoy drama. The company gives students an opportunity to develop their acting talent or technical skill through the rehearsal process. Performances give the students an opportunity to share their mastered skill with the community.
Concerts
The AHS Music program holds choral and instrumental concerts in the winter and spring in the Performing and Fine Arts Center 2007-2008 concert dates:
- December 12, 6:30 p.m. - Christmas Choral Concert
- December 17, 6:30 p.m. - Christmas Instrumental Concert
- May 06, 6:30 p.m. - Spring Choral Concert
- May 08, 6:30 p.m. - Spring Instrumental Concert
